1. Introduction

PressureLog ("the App") is a blood pressure tracking application for Android. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information. The short version: we don't collect any.

This policy applies to all users of PressureLog on Google Play worldwide.

2. Information We Collect

We collect no personal information. Zero.

PressureLog does not have an internet permission in its Android manifest. This means the app is technically incapable of transmitting any data to any server — ours or anyone else's. Your blood pressure readings, notes, reminders, and all other data you enter into the app exist only on your device.

We do not collect:

  • Names, email addresses, or contact information
  • Blood pressure readings or health data
  • Device identifiers or advertising IDs
  • Location data
  • Usage analytics or crash reports
  • Any other personal or sensitive information

3. How Your Data Is Stored

All data you enter into PressureLog — including blood pressure readings, pulse measurements, timestamps, and personal notes — is stored exclusively in a local database on your Android device using Android's standard SQLite storage (Room database).

This data:

  • Never leaves your device
  • Is not backed up to any external server
  • Is not accessible to us or any third party
  • Is deleted permanently when you uninstall the app (unless Android's built-in backup service is enabled in your device settings — see Section 9)

You are in complete control of your data at all times.

4. Third-Party Services and SDKs

PressureLog does not integrate any third-party services, SDKs, analytics platforms, advertising networks, or crash reporting tools. Specifically, the App does not use:

  • Google Analytics, Firebase Analytics, or any analytics service
  • Google AdMob or any advertising network
  • Facebook SDK or Meta Pixel
  • Crashlytics, Sentry, or any crash reporting service
  • Any social media SDK
  • Any health data aggregation service

There are no third parties with access to your data because your data never leaves your device.

5. Google Play Billing

PressureLog offers an optional one-time in-app purchase ("Pro Upgrade") processed entirely by Google Play. If you choose to make a purchase:

  • All payment processing is handled by Google LLC
  • We never receive, see, or store your payment information (credit card, bank details, etc.)
  • Google's handling of your payment data is governed by Google's own Privacy Policy and Terms of Service, available at: https://policies.google.com/privacy
  • The only information we receive from Google is a confirmation that a purchase was completed, so we can unlock the Pro features on your device.

6. Permissions

PressureLog requests the following Android permissions for the following purposes:

No permission is used to collect, access, or transmit personal data. The App does not request or use: INTERNET, ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE, READ_CONTACTS, ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION, CAMERA, READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE, or any other sensitive permission.

7. Children's Privacy (COPPA)

PressureLog is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Since the App collects no personal information from any user, no such data from children is collected either.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information through this App, please contact us at blueoziltech@gmail.com. We will promptly address your concern — though given our zero-data-collection architecture, no such data exists on our systems.

8. Your Rights

Because we collect no personal data, most data subject rights (access, rectification, erasure, portability) are fulfilled automatically — there is no data held by us to access, correct, delete, or transfer. Your data is entirely on your own device, under your own control.

For EU / EEA users (GDPR): We do not process any personal data as defined by the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679. No legal basis for processing is required as no processing occurs.

For California users (CCPA): We do not sell personal information. We do not share personal information with third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising. We collect no personal information as defined by the California Consumer Privacy Act.

For UK users (UK GDPR): The same zero-collection principle applies. We hold no personal data about you.

For Canadian users (PIPEDA): No personal information is collected, used, or disclosed by this App.

9. Data Retention and Deletion

Your data is retained on your device for as long as the App is installed. When you uninstall PressureLog, all locally stored data is permanently deleted from your device.

Note on Android Auto Backup: Android may automatically back up app data (including your readings) to your personal Google Account as part of Android's built-in backup system. This backup is controlled entirely by you through your Android device settings (Settings → Google → Backup). This backup goes to your own Google Account — not to us. To disable this for PressureLog specifically, you can exclude it in your Android backup settings.

We have no access to any backup copies of your data.

10. Security

Since all data remains on your device and we have no server infrastructure, there is no risk of a server-side data breach exposing your health data. The security of your data depends on the security of your device (screen lock, device encryption, etc.), which is managed by you and your device's operating system.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date and, where appropriate, notified within the App. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
